Irena Ossola

Irena is 29 years old, and began cycling competitively in 2012.

She is an Italian-American cyclist that grew up between Santa Fe, New Mexico and

Northern Italy, in a town near Varese.

Her first cycling race was the Tour de L’Ardeche in France.

Every year she has improved in her results and experience.

She enjoys racing in Europe the most, because it’s faster, harder, and aggressive.

Her goals are to reach the world class level so she can compete in the Women’s World Tour, make the Olympics, as well as compete in the World Championships.

She currently races for the Canadian based UCI women’s team SAS-MACOGEP and lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

This year she has competed mostly in Europe, but also competed in the USA at the North Star Grand Prix and the USA Pro National Championships for Road Race and Criterium, where she finished 3rd.
