Cycligent is proud to announce Cristina Torres who will be competing at CVR World Cup Paris.

Cristina is 36 years old and has been cycling for 7 years.

In 2008, she needed a change in her life because her weight was rapidly increasing and she had some bad habits that needed to be addressed.  She began running and became addicted.  She lost 20kg in 6 months.  Her fitness level skyrocketed and she started to asphalt race and trail run.

In 2010, she finished the MiM Penyagolosa Trails.  Then, she started cycling, but was hit by a car and broke her collarbone and the radius.  This scared her from riding.

In 2013, her son was born, and she dropped everything to be a new mom.

In 2015, she discovered the smart trainer, bought a new bike, and started to train on the bike inside.  She also went back to running.

In 2017, she came back with a vengeance, and finished the Penyagolosa Trails MiM again.  After the race, her knees became sore, and she gave up running. Then, she discovered Zwift Racing.

To date, Cristina has completed 20 races and rides on Zwift, plus did a vast number of workouts.  She rides a minimum of 5 days a week, and has recently completed an FTP challenge that has increased her power by 25% in only 8 weeks.

So far, her race numbers from June 2017 are good when compared with previous rides and races.  She’s improved in a lot of ways and learned some tips about racing as has recently joined the Zwift Academy.

As a result of Zwift, her life has changed completely.  She’s also met a lot of people with the same interests, who inspire her every day.

On September 30th, she will be attending her first IRL race, which will be taking place in Valencia.

Outside of cycling, Cristina lives in Castellón, and works for an IT corporation.
